Organisation: Mendip Hills AONB
Times: 11.30 am - 02.30 pm
Join the Mendip Hills AONB team of volunteers for some fresh air and gentle exercise whilst making a difference to your local area. We will be spending time at the National Trusts Tor Hill taking part in a variety of tasks to help maintain the site for wildlife and visitors. These might include using hand tools such as loppers and helping to repair a wall.
This task is open to everyone no matter what your level of fitness is and whether you have taken part in any sort practical work before. We want everyone to have the opportunity to enjoy the stunning landscape of the Mendip Hills and help make a difference. You will be working with our friendly and welcoming volunteers and staff who will be there to run the session.
There will be lots of tea and cake!
You will need to bring appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear- that you don’t mind getting a bit muddy or torn.
