Experience Dunkery and Horner Wood National Nature Reserve looking their best in the height of Spring. 

Ranger Paul will guide you through this reasonably challenging walk, helping you spot rare plants and listen out for cuckoos and migrating birds. See if you can spot 'The General,' an ancient oak and one of the oldest trees on Holnicote. The walk winds through ancient woodland and you'll get panoramic views across the Horner Valley & Porlock Vale towards picturesque Selworthy.

Sturdy footwear with good grip, and appropriate clothing depending on prevailing weather conditions are essential.

Sorry, there are no toilets on this event 4.5 mile walk through mixed terrain
